Do I have to pay a deposit for the reservation?
A deposit of 40% of the total amount of your reservation is due at the time of booking. On your booking confirmation you will find all details about the payment modalities. As soon as the payment has been received, you will also receive a confirmation for this.
I need to cancel my reservation. What conditions apply?
Unless specifically stated otherwise at the time of booking, the following cancellation terms apply:
- Free cancellation up to 21 days before arrival. A processing fee of €20.00 will be charged for the return of the deposit.
- 7-20 days before arrival: 40% of the booking amount will be charged.
- 0-6 days before arrival: 80 % of the booking amount will be charged.
- Late arrivals and early departures are handled like cancellations.
Reservations of 8 persons or more cannot be cancelled unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Reservations made by third parties (travel agencies, tour operators, online portals) cannot be cancelled unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Can I take out insurance for a possible cancellation?
A lot can happen before or during a holiday. In order to be protected from additional costs in the event of cancellation, late arrival or early departure, we recommend that you take out travel cancellation insurance, such as http://hotel.europaeische.at/hgv?AGN=10015622.
What are the advantages of a direct booking?
With a direct booking you have the best price guarantee, better cancellation conditions and afternoon cake included in the half-board price. In addition, the earlier you book, the better the price!
How much is the local tax?
The prices quoted do not include the local tax of € 2.10 per night. Children under 14 are exempt from this.
Can I book a smoking room?
No, all our rooms are non-smoking rooms. In case of disregarding the smoking ban in the room we have to charge a general cleaning fee of 60,- €.
Can I bring my dog with me?
You are welcome to bring your four-legged friend with you on request. Please note that dogs do not have access to all areas of the hotel (restaurant, wellness area, garden). Cost: € 20.00 per night without board.
When is check-in possible? How long can I use the room on the day of departure?
Rooms can be occupied on the day of arrival between 14:00 and 18:00. To ensure that the rooms can be made available again for the next guests, we kindly ask you to vacate them until 10:00 a.m. on the day of departure.
Can I depart later?
Late check-out on request: use of the hotel facilities on the day of departure until 6:00 p.m., room excluded, including afternoon sweet and use of the wellness area € 15.00 per person, including dinner € 39.00.
How can I pay the hotel bill?
The hotel bill can be paid on the evening before departure or on the same day preferably in cash or alternatively by bank transfer, bank card or credit card (Visa or Mastercard).
When is the wellness area open?
The swimming pool is open daily from 7am to 7pm and, on request, after dinner until 11pm. The sauna area is open daily from 3pm to 7pm.
Do I have to bring a bathrobe?
For the duration of the stay, "Moar's Wellness Pack" can be booked at a one-off cost of € 10 per person. The package includes a wellness bag with bathrobe and slippers. Towels you will find in your room.
How can I book individual treatments, e.g. massages?
We recommend that you book the desired treatment at the hotel reception as early as possible, even before your arrival! Appointments can be cancelled or postponed free of charge up to 24 hours before the treatment; unfortunately we have to charge the full amount for later changes.
Are children allowed to use the wellness area?
Children are welcome to use the hotel indoor pool. Unfortunately, children up to 14 years of age are not allowed to access the sauna area.
When are breakfast and dinner served?
The following times apply for breakfast and dinner:
Breakfast buffet: 7:30 am - 10:00 am Dinner: 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm
I am not allowed to eat everything. What do I have to consider?
We try to take care about all dietary requirements. To do this, we must be informed in advance of any allergies/dietary requirements. Please let us know your requirements at the time of booking.
I will arrive by car. Can I find a near parking space?
We offer our guests the possibility of parking in the hotel garage free of charge, in addition there are several parking spaces available at the hotel. Reservations for parking spaces are not accepted.
Can I reach all floors by lift?
All floors are easily accessible by lift. If you have special needs for your room, please contact us and we will try to find a suitable solution.
Where can I find out about current events, weather, webcams and local activities?
For guests of the destination, the Tourist Association of Valdaora offers extensive information about what is on offer in Valdaora at https://olang.guestnet.info.
Until when is the hotel open in the evening?
You can enter or leave the hotel at any time with your personal key card. We ask to follow night's rest from 11 pm.
How is the hotel heated?
We get the heat from the district heating plant Olang, which produces environmentally friendly energy from renewable raw materials (wood). It is the first district heating plant to be built in South Tyrol and has been supplying heat since 1994. In addition, solar panels on the hotel roof provide hot water.
What restrictions apply due to Covid-19 and current economic/social problems?
At the moment there are no restrictions. In case of fundamental changes, our guests will be informed immediately.
How can I reach the valley station?
We recommend taking the ski bus, which saves you time and protects the environment. There are frequent ski bus lines to the valley station, which is only 2 km away from the hotel. The bus stop is directly at the hotel. We will inform you on site about the exact ski bus times.
Can I buy the ski pass online?
Yes, we recommend to buy the ski pass at least two days in advance. This way you avoid the waiting time at the ticket office and get a discounted offer.

How can I book my ski lessons?
Simply contact one of the ski schools at Kronpaltz directly, such as the Kron Ski School.
Is there a ski rental on site?
Skis can be rented directly in front of the hotel at Sport Sagmeister Klaus or at the valley station at Rent & Go.
How do I get to the Braies Lake?
In the summer months, mobility in the Braies Valley is very limited due to the high frequency. Perhaps you would prefer to visit one of the other beautiful lakes in the Puster Valley. You can find information about mobility in Braies on the following website: https://www.prags.bz/en!
Are the Three Peaks of Lavaredo accessible by car?
Yes, there is a toll road from Misurina to the Auronzo hut, but with very limited parking. Alternatively, you can travel by bus from Dobbiaco. Current information: https://www.drei-zinnen.bz/en/ticket
Can I rent a bicycle?
During summer season bicycles of all sizes and types can be reserved and rented 100 m from the hotel - Kurt Ladstätter / Rent & Go.
